The lotus flower, with its rich symbolism and profound meanings, captured my heart and took me on a transformational journey. For me, the lotus flower serves as a powerful emblem, representing the essence of new beginnings and personal growth.
MovePure flourished from a remarkable journey of self-discovery and reinvention. I decided to leave my professional ballet career and found myself at university studying Physiotherapy. Although I was on a path I felt lost and uncertain for the future. During my days at university I explored the world of yoga where the lotus flower revealed its significance. The lotus flower, rooted in mud and submerged in murky waters, blossoms into its renowned beauty. From these origins, the lotus gets its symbolism of purity, new beginnings and enlightenment.
This newfound understanding of the lotus flower infused me with a burst of energy and determination. It was the catalyst that led to the birth of MovePure. Drawing from my love for ballet and dance, and extensive knowledge of the human body, I created a space where dancers could harness my expertise to flourish in their own journeys. MovePure became the bridge that connected my past with my present. Much like the lotus emerging from the depths of the murky water, I struggled through a tough dark time of self discovery only to bloom and grow into something meaningful. I was able to create, nourish and grow what we call MovePure today. MovePure symbolises the infinite potential within us all, the power of renewal, and the courage to embrace new beginnings.
The name "MovePure" itself reflects the essence of the lotus flower's symbolism. It represents not only the act of moving one's body but also the purity of intention and the new beginnings that myself and clients can embark upon.
The lotus flower encapsulates the essence of MovePure's journey and mission. It serves as a reminder that even in the face of adversity and uncertainty, we have the capacity to transform, grow, and bloom anew.
